Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Host/Hostess to join our team at Hotel Don Fernando de Taos. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, escorting them to their tables and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Assist in preparing the restaurant for service, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Take and confirm reservations, ensuring accurate and timely communication with guests.
  • Monitor guest needs and preferences, providing personalized service and exceeding expectations.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant/Food and Beverage field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training.
  • Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
