Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and customers. This is a part-time and full-time overnight position, requiring a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the facility, including the fence line, offices, auction building, and grounds, to identify potential security risks and ensure the premises are secure.
  • Incident Reporting: Respond to and report any incidents, such as fire hazards, security breaches, or unauthorized access, to the relevant authorities and management.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the main gate and other security personnel to ensure a seamless security operation.
  • Vehicle Processing: Assist with the processing of vehicles, including inputting vehicle information, verifying VIN numbers, and generating stock-in stickers and auction sale stickers.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: A minimum of one to three years of security experience, preferably in an auction or similar environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including the ability to use handheld devices and software applications.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand for long periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks as required by the role.
