Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in advising managers and HR Business Partners on complex employee relations situations and ensuring compliance with Human Resources policies, State/Federal employment laws, and labor contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and HR Business Partners on employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and address workplace conflicts, harassment, and discrimination.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance to managers and HR Business Partners on compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with managers, employees, and HR Business Partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and provide recommendations for resolution.
