We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at GTT, LLC. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, including vital signs, medication administration, and any notable events.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor and Report: Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as cardiac or pulmonary arrest, and initiate basic life support measures.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting or related facility is preferred, but not required.
- Training and Certification: Successfully completed a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis and CPR certification.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent required.
