Job Description

Job Title: Service Desk Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Desk Agent to join our team. As a Service Desk Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for internal employees, providing timely and effective support for IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems with desktop systems, software, and mobile devices.
  • Respond to service requests for support, providing information to fulfill requests or enable resolution.
  • Apply client services standards to resolve or escalate clients' service problems within a specified area of responsibility.
  • Assist users in making more effective use of desktop systems, products, and services.
  • Prioritize and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution, analyze complex problems to determine underlying causes and help users to recover or continue operation.
  • Ensure that requests are handled according to agreed procedures.
  • For unresolved incidents, provide an effective interface between users and service providers, supplying all necessary diagnostic information.
  • Use judgment to set priority for resolution, monitor progress, and apply escalation procedures for unresolved incidents.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in an IT Service Desk providing support to a complex customer base.
  • Diagnosing and resolving IT-related support requests, such as Windows, Gmail, and Mobile Devices (Android, iOS, tablets, hardware, software, and applications).
  • Customer service and being a cultural fit will be important.

Work Environment:

Our call center is open from 7am-8pm, 7 days a week. We offer 2x 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch break. Our team uses Dell Servers, Desktops, and Laptops, as well as Mobile Devices Android, iOS, and Windows.
