Orthopedic Office Representative at OrthoArizona:

OrthoArizona, a leading orthopedic group in the valley, is dedicated to providing top-notch musculoskeletal care to the community. With over two dozen locations and 75+ orthopedic specialists, we are committed to excellence since 1994.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to patient inquiries, direct them accordingly, and update patient records.
  • Schedule appointments accurately following provider protocols and ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Inform patients about appointment details, necessary documents, and any additional requirements.
  • Confirm authorization and referral documentation to ensure smooth patient care.
  • Register patients and verify demographics to maintain accurate records.
  • Interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Coordinate office visits and procedures to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Perform any other assigned duties to support the orthopedic office team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately update patient records.
  • Proficiency in computer programs to efficiently manage patient data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Ability to learn practice management software to stay up-to-date with the latest technology.
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • High School diploma or equivalent to demonstrate a strong educational foundation.
  • Availability to work between 12:00 pm-8:00 pm to accommodate patient schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical office experience to bring valuable knowledge and skills to the orthopedic office team.
  • Bilingual skills to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Basic phone handling abilities to effectively manage patient inquiries.
  • Experience in a contact center to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Understanding of insurance plans and referrals to ensure seamless patient care.
