Auto-Owners Insurance Claims Representative Internship

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze claims data to determine policy coverage and evaluate the amount of loss.
  • Develop a deep understanding of insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to ensure accurate claims processing.
  • Work collaboratively with agents, policyholders, and other stakeholders to resolve claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct on-site investigations, phone interviews, and mail correspondence to gather necessary information.
  • Ensure that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a junior or senior year of college.
  • Above-average communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and work independently.
  • Organizational and analytical skills to interpret data and prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
