Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and assemble facts to determine policy coverage and evaluate the amount of loss.
  • Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to become familiar with insurance coverage.
  • Work towards the resolution of claims, attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary.
  • Ensure timely and accurate claims payments.
  • Service the needs of agents, policyholders, and others.
  • Conduct investigations by phone, mail, and on-site.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled and entering junior or senior year in college.
  • Above-average communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Organize and interpret data.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Detail-oriented.
Compensation:

- $18/hour. Returning interns may qualify for a higher rate of pay.
