Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the supply chain develops processes consistent with engineering intent. This role will support operational buyers as a working leader, collaborating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to develop supplier continuous improvement and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational buyer team to achieve best-in-class results
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and improve supplier quality targets and KPIs
  • Report quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
  • Support quality inspection technicians and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Approve production processes and similarity classes
  • Evaluate product quality and make recommendations for improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality and environmental awareness programs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills using systematic approaches, such as Six Sigma and root cause analysis
