Are you looking for a challenging career that offers opportunities for growth and development? At Oliver Inc., we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance program and provide guidance in inspection and test techniques.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage QA personnel, work with a cross-functional team, and identify areas of inefficiency to promote continuous improvement. They will take ownership of the quality of all outgoing materials and products, as well as production procedures.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage, develop, motivate, and lead QA personnel.
  • Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.
  • Ensure that products adhere to quality standards.
  • Train and manage staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.
  • Monitor production and quality processes and troubleshoot any errors.
  • Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data and generate reports as needed.
  • Maintain all company SQF administrative requirements and perform periodic quality inspections.

You're a fit for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance in the paperboard packaging industry.
  • Understanding of SQF, 5S, G7 industry specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety programs, occupational safety, and health administration requirements and Code of Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Team Player with ability to multi-task with deadlines while still meeting standards.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions based on facts and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards with fellow employees, customers, and the public.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Associate degree a must, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SQF certification a must.
