Compensation: $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and documentation; clarify provisions and exclusions
- Generate estimates by calculating costs for materials, supplies, and labor; determine customer payment amounts, including deductibles
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by detailing symptoms, issues, and causes identified, along with necessary repairs and services; secure approval signatures; enter RO into E-Emphasys
- Manage a job board and assist in delegating tasks to technicians
- Maintain customer trust by explaining estimates and anticipated vehicle return; secure customer approval for estimates; provide contact information; address questions and concerns
- Keep unit records updated by documenting issues and planned corrective actions
- Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities; read manufacturer publications and complete online factory courses
- Improve the organization's reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests; seek opportunities to add value to job outcomes
- Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by management in alignment with dealership objectives
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume phone handling, office administration, customer relations, proficient computer skills, and problem-solving
- Experience in Refrigerated Transportation or Heavy Diesel dealership is highly preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Able to meet monthly service goals and deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential, with a proven ability to manage customer updates, concerns, demands, and objections while maintaining professionalism
