Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Atticus Market. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping floors, and taking out the trash.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and reporting low inventory levels to management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
