Position Overview

Audacy New York is in search of a motivated, dynamic, and proactive individual for the role of Sales Support Specialist. We are seeking a professional who is detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, and possesses outstanding organizational and technological skills to assist Sales Managers and Sales Teams while serving as a point of contact between Account Executives and clients when necessary.

The expected salary range for candidates interested in this position is between $45,000 and $50,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location, along with internal and external equity considerations.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Develop sales presentations by gathering data, creating presentation formats and materials, and maintaining one-sheets and media kits.
  • Support Account Executives in preparing proposals.
  • Provide updates to managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
  • Acquire local invoices for clients/agencies as required, working closely with the Traffic Department to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and to track down missing copy and instructions.
  • Address order and inventory issues by examining data and history, identifying alternative methods for fulfilling orders, and notifying managers and clients.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and copying; provide backup support to the Traffic Department and handle phone coverage for the station as needed.
  • Assist the General Manager with client events, including scheduling and coordinating with approved vendors.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and client events as necessary.
  • Engage in consultation, collaboration, and brainstorming with the sales team on innovative ideas and lead generation.

  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic and confident, with the ability to think critically and learn quickly.
  • Professionally polished, poised, and determined; a self-motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Able to effectively utilize research in presentations.
  • Self-driven, assertive, and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Possession of a college degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications.
