ROLE OVERVIEW:

In the role of Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will manage food preparation and Back-of-the-House activities, ensuring compliance with Golden Corral's standards and protocols. You will also oversee overall restaurant functions in the absence of the General Manager and Hospitality Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure superior food quality and productivity among Back-of-the-House staff and production team members.
  • Meet budgetary goals for food, labor, and operational expenses through strategic planning and execution.
  • Maintain company standards for product quality, cleanliness, and service efficiency.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory management, and equipment upkeep.
  • Recruit and train staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards and certifications.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions as necessary.
  • Organize daily pre-shift meetings and support restaurant operations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To thrive in this position, you should possess 2-3 years of management experience in a high-volume dining environment, including a variety of menu options. A degree in business or hospitality is preferred, along with successful completion of Golden Corral's management training program. You must also achieve the Certified Kitchen Manager certification within six months of employment. A valid driver's license is required.
