Key Responsibilities
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in our organization, primarily responsible for delivering customer service support by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information promptly. This role focuses on supporting our extensive closet solutions. The representative will ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer phone calls for order placements and providing sales quotes.
- Collaborating closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes.
- Assisting walk-in customers in the showroom with inquiries and order placements.
- Generating new or complementary sales through phone and face-to-face interactions in the showroom.
- Researching product solutions to address customer project issues.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, day shift only.
- Experience in customer service, either by phone or in-person, with the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
- Interest or knowledge in interior design, cabinetry, millwork, kitchen and bath design, or closet solutions.
- Strong general math skills; comfortable working with numbers and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with all customers.
- Commitment to providing top-quality service in alignment with our core value of Customer Focus.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired to assist our bilingual customers.
- Experience with AS400 (database) is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education may be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
