About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions that transform our business and technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers in the design, build, and deployment of AI-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to educate on risks and opportunities in the delivery of AI-based solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the adoption of AI-based technologies across the enterprise.
  • Manage resources effectively while balancing business objectives and the production of high-quality deliverables.
  • Align work with business and engineering priorities to realize meaningful impact.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key leaders and peers across the organization to ensure the best use of overall resources.
  • Develop a robust talent pipeline and provide unique opportunities and challenges to each team member to enrich development.
Requirements
  • Seven years of programming/development experience plus two years prior technical leadership experience.
  • Passion for Artificial Intelligence and for driving the adoption of AI-based technologies to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record implementing current technology trends and techniques in the Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing Spaces.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to identify opportunities to educate on risks and opportunities in the delivery of AI-based solutions.
  • Critical-thinking engineering mindset and ability to triage problems which may be best solved by AI-solutions and those where more traditional solutions may be appropriate.
  • Delivery - Advanced delivery skills including the ability to examine and assess the effectiveness of software design strategies and methodologies across an organization.
  • Domain Expertise - Demonstrated track record of domain expertise including the ability to leverage expertise to improve company level capabilities within domain.
  • Problem Solving - Strong problem solver who creates architecture that is particularly robust against single points of failure.
  • Communication - Strong communicator who possesses the ability to describe technology concepts in ways the business can understand.
  • Leadership - Advanced leadership skills including the ability to leverage internal networks across engineering and engage with other leaders to solve problems.
