About the Role

Noblis MSD is seeking a highly skilled Navigation Electronics Trainer/Technician to join our team. As a Navigation Critical Distribution Systems Specialist, you will provide engineering and technical assistance support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical assistance support to NAVSEA and NSWCPD
  • Assess proper integration with navigation and steering peripheral equipment
  • Travel to fleet concentration areas to facilitate technical installations, training, and repairs
  • Facilitate in-lab SCD development
  • Provide subject matter expertise at status meetings
  • Complete assigned tasking with minimal to no supervision
  • Facilitate fleet implementation and fielding plans
  • Develop and execute test plans
  • Provide feedback and lessons learned for test plans and technical documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
  • Three (3) years minimum technical experience in architecting and designing electrical to mechanical systems
  • Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Knowledge of network related electronic system concepts
  • Knowledge of NAVSEA System Engineering Process or CMMI
  • Knowledge of basic project management principles
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networking
  • General Windows OS experience
  • Proficient in using MS Office products
  • Excellent communications skills
