Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. As an Electronics Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, and conducting inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex service projects
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks
  • Install all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • 8 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • 3 years of experience focused in electronic security systems
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems
Physical Abilities/Requirements
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possesses good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
