Job Title: Unit Clerk/Care Team Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unit Clerk/Care Team Technician to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services in our medical unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care and services, including vital signs, I&O, and specimen collection.
  • Perform data collection and reporting, recognizing variances in patient condition and reporting promptly.
  • Follow the plan of care and recommend changes to meet the ongoing needs of the patient.
  • Provide blood glucose monitoring and notify nursing of results.
  • Monitor patients receiving blood or blood components and those on fall precautions.
  • Participate in shift report and maintain accurate inventory of unit supplies.
  • Utilize all communication systems correctly and maintain confidentiality of the medical record.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Current CNA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
