Job Summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a skilled Unit Clerk/Care Team Technician to join our team. As a key member of our nursing unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and services, including vital signs, I&O, and specimen collection.
  • Perform data collection and reporting, including recognizing variances in patient condition and reporting promptly.
  • Follow the plan of care and recommend changes to meet the ongoing needs of the patient.
  • Provide blood glucose monitoring and notify nursing of results.
  • Monitor patients receiving blood or blood components and provide interventions within scope of practice.
  • Assist with transporting patients within the hospital and maintain accurate inventory of unit supplies.
  • Utilize all communication systems correctly and report all identified problems to the Clinical Supervisor and/or Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Current CNA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
