Job Summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a skilled Unit Clerk/Care Team Technician to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services in our PCU/Fulltime/Nights unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care activities, including vital signs, I&O, and simple dressing changes.
  • Collect and document patient data accurately and promptly.
  • Recognize and report variances in patient condition to the clinical team.
  • Participate in shift report to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide blood glucose monitoring and notify nursing of results.
  • Monitor patients receiving blood or blood components.
  • Assist with patient transportation and preparation for procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of unit supplies.
  • Utilize communication systems correctly and report problems to the Clinical Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Current CNA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
