Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud data platform. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business, and technical impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Define and deliver programs that drive business outcomes and technical innovation.
  • Leadership: Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management teams to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Bring strong, data-driven, and strategic technical judgment to decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex projects in current cloud technologies.
  • Dynamic Environment: Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle, especially in earlier phases when product or architecture are not yet well defined.
  • Program Management Skills: Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation, and organizational skills.
  • Education: BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
