Help Desk Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team at TIER4 GROUP. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain Windows operating systems, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
  • Support VDI environments to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Track and manage support tickets using ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff as needed.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on best practices for using IT systems and software.
Key Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11 preferred).
  • Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management and monitoring tools (Tanium preferred).
  • Strong experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
