As a Patient Care Coordinator Float, you will have the opportunity to work across various ADVENT locations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, guiding them through different phases of their treatment.
- Welcome patients and accurately register them into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system following established protocols.
- Facilitate the ordering of Sleep Study devices through our internal systems.
- Upload and manage sleep study reports within the system.
- Review upcoming clinic schedules to confirm insurance details and necessary patient documentation.
- Coordinate patient appointments effectively.
- Handle incoming calls to provide additional support as needed.
- Oversee the opening and closing of the clinic in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and that patient payments are processed according to insurance guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinic team members to maintain an efficient daily schedule.
- Order medical supplies and medications as required, adhering to established protocols.
- Cross-train in roles such as Care Coordinator or Medical Assistant based on clinic requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
