About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita's Woodbury Dialysis Center in Woodbury, MN. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as needed
