Job Overview

Position Summary:

B2 Constructors, LLC is in search of a meticulous, organized, and driven individual to fill the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is vital in overseeing and facilitating the hiring processes essential for the company's growth. Should the hiring needs be met, the individual may also assist with general office administrative tasks or provide support to the estimating department as a Proposal Manager. This diverse role demands exceptional organizational capabilities, a proactive mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Talent Acquisition (Primary):

  • Formulate and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for construction positions, ensuring the retention of top talent.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, including sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, conducting background checks, and onboarding candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp job specifications and develop engaging job descriptions.
  • Manage job postings and actively pursue high-caliber candidates, taking full responsibility for their successful recruitment.
  • Utilize various sources to gather salary information to ensure competitive offers aligned with industry standards.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings.
  • Coordinate and engage in job fairs and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Guarantee a positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment journey.

2) Proposal Management (Secondary):

  • Lead the creation and submission of detailed proposals.
  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to collect necessary data and ensure proposals are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Draft, revise, and refine proposal documents, including executive summaries and organizational credentials.
  • Develop proposal strategies and narratives in partnership with senior management.
  • Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to effectively respond to requirements.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to strategically position the company.
  • Manage proposal timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal meetings, following up with contributors to ensure timely submissions.
  • Maintain a repository of proposal resources, including templates and case studies.
  • Train and mentor a team of contributors from various departments.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to produce high-quality proposals.
  • Continuously improve proposal processes through feedback and evaluations.

3) Office Administration (Tertiary):

  • Perform general office tasks as required.
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for team members to optimize costs.
  • Support the preparation and updates of the employee handbook and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with annual employee benefits renewals.
  • Proactively suggest additional benefits to enhance employee offerings.
  • Be adaptable to undertake other project-related tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated accuracy, efficiency, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate recruitment challenges.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime and manage pressure effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of construction industry roles and requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to oversee the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of construction project management and estimating processes is a plus.
