Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Procurement Assistant II to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the procurement and optimization of activities related to the delivery of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) parts to our production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Oversee procurement activities, ensuring efficient delivery of MRO parts.
  • Supplier Documentation: Manage non-disclosure agreements and certificates of insurance for a large supplier base.
  • Order Management: Address order issues, expedite requests, and review confirmations to ensure timely procurement.
  • Invoice Resolution: Facilitate resolution of invoice discrepancies for production parts and guide users in resolving issues.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory relocation to optimize storage and accessibility.
  • Repair Process Management: Investigate and process repairs for inventory parts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building effective relationships.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and procurement policies.

Education:

  • A minimum of a two-year degree is preferred, though relevant work experience may be considered.
