Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing customer sales, prospecting new sales leads, and implementing seasonal re-sets in customer produce departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Increase customer sales in accordance with objectives
  • Prospect assigned territories for new sales leads
  • Implement seasonal re-sets in customer produce departments
  • Direct, teach, and implement the building of special produce displays
  • Supply and educate customers and produce managers with point of sale and point of purchase materials
  • Coordinate with outside and inside reps on budget, gross profit, sales, and strategic goals
  • Conduct annual customer reviews, including category review, product performance, SKU additions and reductions, and seasonal sales planning
  • Complete all ordering and pricing in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Related college coursework and at least 3 years of successful fresh produce management experience in sales, buying, or merchandising for large wholesale distributors or retailers
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office, produce industry software, and common email systems
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Maintain insurability on company's commercial auto insurance program
Compensation and Benefits:
