Key Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting our project management team on large-scale commercial landscape construction initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the construction team to ensure that all services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget, on schedule, and with exceptional quality
  • Collaborating with the estimating team to review take-offs
  • Managing document control processes, including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration
  • Providing reports and information as required
  • Facilitating effective communication among branch administrative office personnel, field staff, sales teams, estimating teams, and branch management
  • Engaging with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure outstanding customer service and consistent quality

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Construction Management is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in computer software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and CMiC
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector

Preferred Skills:

  • A strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • The capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • A background in customer service
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
