Key Responsibilities:
The Landscape Project Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting our project management team on large-scale commercial landscape construction initiatives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure that all services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget, on schedule, and with superior quality
- Reviewing project take-offs in conjunction with the estimating team
- Managing document control processes, including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract management
- Preparing reports and information as required
- Facilitating communication among branch administrative staff, field personnel, sales representatives, estimating teams, and branch leadership
- Engaging closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members to ensure exceptional customer service and quality
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Construction Management is preferred, but not mandatory
- Proficiency in software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and CMiC
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector
Preferred Skills:
- A strong work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A background in customer service
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
