The Pharmacy Manager plays a vital role in positively impacting our consumers and clinic partners by advising them on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This individual is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will oversee the daily operations of a pharmacy, including dispensing prescription medications and engaging in one-on-one consultations with consumers. Coaching, developing, and managing pharmacy staff are also essential responsibilities of this position. The manager will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking top talent for pharmacy roles.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Foster an exceptional consumer and clinic partner experience while building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a clinical expert, engaging with the clinical team to achieve their clinical outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, schedules, and personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct wellness services such as immunizations and preventive care.
  • Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to ensure they reach their full potential and deliver outstanding service.
  • Create an engaging team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values and culture.
  • Proactively promote opportunities and recruit top talent for our pharmacies.
  • Review key performance indicators with pharmacy staff, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to ensure we meet all needs and promote pharmacy services.
  • Implement marketing strategies and materials to highlight all pharmacy offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Ohio.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Kentucky or willingness to obtain it.
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become certified within three months of hire.
  • Willingness to complete LAI Training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy leadership.
