Job Summary:

The GeorgiaGov is seeking a highly skilled Tax Operations Supervisor - UI Field to join our team. As a Tax Operations Supervisor - UI Field, you will be responsible for supervising field tax staff to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of field tax staff to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure assignment completion goals are met.
  • Provide training to staff to ensure they are knowledgeable of provisions of the Georgia Employment Security laws, section rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals and provide feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of professional job-related experience, including one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role.
  • Or six years of professional job-related experience, including one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role.
  • Or one year of experience at the lower level Auditor/Examiner 3 (FIP032) or equivalent position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years' experience at the lower level UI Field Tax Agent II (FIP031) and two years of experience meeting and exceeding annual audit completion requirements.
  • Two years meeting and/or exceeding expectations in all job responsibilities and common core areas.
  • Eight years of extensive experience in auditing and/or accounting.
