Job Overview

Position Title: Weatherization Intake Specialist

Program: Utility Assistance

Classification: Non-Exempt/Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Client Enrollment & Program Execution: Assess eligibility and enroll clients into the weatherization initiative. Aid in the completion of necessary documentation, including income verification, proof of home ownership, or landlord consent. Efficiently manage the referral process from both internal and external sources.
  2. Data Oversight: Diligently document participant eligibility and maintain comprehensive records for program involvement. Oversee program-related data, ensuring timely and precise reporting for all stakeholders. Submit data and documentation to the contracting agency on a weekly basis.
  3. Collaboration & Partnership Building: Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator and other staff members as necessary. Participate in outreach activities to promote the program. Develop and sustain relationships with community organizations, local government entities, etc., to facilitate smooth referrals and collaboration for participant benefit.
  4. Quality Assurance & Performance Enhancement: Uphold a high level of accuracy in all assigned responsibilities, actively seeking opportunities for process enhancement. Engage in team meetings and professional development to refine processes and improve program outcomes.
  5. Client Support: Deliver responsive and courteous assistance to participants, including managing incoming inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues, and ensuring participant satisfaction.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends based on program needs.
