Job Title: Controls Specialist

Stryten Energy is seeking a highly skilled Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing our injection molding machines, automation equipment, and other related systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, automation equipment, and other related systems.
  • Work closely with plastic process engineers to identify problems, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machines.
  • Program changes as required by continuing improvement and new product systems implementation.
  • Validate equipment calibration procedures and update as necessary.
  • Develop and implement electrical drawings as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong oral, written, computer, and communication skills.
  • High degree of electrical knowledge and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to solve issues pertaining to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
  • Experience with robotic control systems and ability to commission and troubleshoot equipment using applicable software.
  • Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and related equipment.
Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS Windows environments.
  • Experience with Autodesk Electrical and understanding of RS logix.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Technical School preferred.
