Seasonal Youth Soccer Program Coordinator

Position: Part-time Seasonal Coordinator
Hours: Flexible, ranging from 15 to 25 hours per week
We are a national organization dedicated to delivering engaging soccer programs for children, emphasizing character development. While we are expanding, we maintain a family-oriented approach, treating our staff as part of a cohesive team and nurturing the children we serve. Our coaches receive training in leadership, communication, early childhood education, and sports management, ensuring high-quality foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifelong love of the game. Our mission is straightforward: to create a lasting, positive influence on every child we reach.
REQUIREMENTS:Our team members must have a passion for working with children and a love for soccer. Candidates should possess reliable transportation, ideally have experience in early childhood education, and be at least 18 years old.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Coaching and Leadership:
- Conducting Soccer Shots sessions, which will comprise 60% of your role, including travel to various locations.
- Possessing a personal vehicle is mandatory.
- Prioritizing the safety of children in your care.
- Engaging with each child through positive reinforcement.
- Being organized and systematic in executing lesson plans while maintaining appropriate order for the age group.
- Demonstrating responsibility as the coach and representative of Soccer Shots.
- Bringing energy and enthusiasm to create a fun and inviting atmosphere for children.
- Committing to excellence, quality, and safety in soccer participation.
- Assisting in the collection of necessary paperwork for staff coaches and maintaining accurate staff records.
Leadership and Management:
- Overseeing the scheduled Soccer Shots season.
- Participating in the interview and evaluation processes.
Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service:
- Conducting Soccer Shots demonstrations.
- Attending promotional events.
Administrative Support:
- Creating, printing, and distributing enrollment forms and promotional materials.
- Keeping records of equipment sets and gear for instructors.
- Preparing and distributing seasonal prizes and certificates.
Professional Development:
- Attending team and all-staff meetings as available.
- Participating in Giant Leadership training.
This position involves working in both indoor and outdoor sports environments, with at least 50% of the time spent outside. The role requires physical activity, including running, stopping, and bending, in 40-minute increments per session. It may involve lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and requires good vision skills (with or without correction). Administrative tasks can be completed in an office setting, with some opportunities for remote work.
