Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance and transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call handling protocols to deliver excellent customer support to providers, facilities, and member representatives.
- Schedule, assign, review, and route transportation requests using appropriate methods.
- Clearly document communications following protocols and processes, and properly identify and escalate issues as necessary.
- Effectively communicate trip data, including confirmations, routing times, issues, and performance.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow coworkers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Some work experience, preferably in dispatch or routing calls in customer service
