Position Overview: The Reliability Engineer is responsible for spearheading the Asset Reliability initiatives at our manufacturing facility, utilizing analytical problem-solving methodologies and structured processes for reliability enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize equipment uptime across all essential machinery.
  • Oversee and enhance the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) framework, promoting its regular application to ensure effective resolution of issues throughout the facility.
  • Lead the Criticality program to optimize maintenance strategies, spare parts inventory, and enhance asset dependability.
  • Implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies to systematically design, monitor, and refine maintenance plans, focusing on predictive maintenance improvements.
  • Foster a culture of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across production areas, providing training and promoting an Asset Care mindset.
  • Compile and disseminate Engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, collaborating with Engineering Supervisors to address any challenges.
  • Utilize D365 data to identify improvement opportunities through analysis of metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
  • Analyze the top three downtime issues monthly, working with process engineers and maintenance teams to implement preventative measures and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Drive enhancements in Equipment Efficiency through the deployment of reliability programs aimed at achieving world-class manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to develop a comprehensive 5-year Reliability Strategy focused on continuous KPI improvements.
  • Ensure all site assets undergo Criticality/FMEA assessments to establish cost-effective maintenance practices.
  • Promote the training and application of reliability tools such as RCM, RCA, and FMEA, ensuring the team is well-versed in best practices.
  • Provide technical support to Operations and Engineering teams, assisting in the achievement of site performance KPIs.
  • Identify and execute Reliability Improvement projects, justifying investments with data-driven insights.
  • Develop systems to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the reliability improvement agenda.
  • Offer technical guidance on engineering challenges and improvement needs.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG manufacturing, or Automotive sectors.
  • Proven ability to train and influence team members.
  • Strong skills in influencing and securing commitment to the reliability agenda.
  • In-depth knowledge of RCM and FMEA methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project management and planning capabilities.
  • Significant experience with CMMS, report generation, and data analysis.
