Position Summary:
The Maintenance Reliability Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational reliability of our theme park attractions, including rides and shows. This position is pivotal in enhancing the uptime and availability of our equipment, thereby enriching guest experiences. Key responsibilities include providing expert technical support to the maintenance team, leading Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and developing, monitoring, and optimizing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and improvement of reliability processes to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and implement corrective measures for complex or recurring issues.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of maintenance activities and inventory management.
  • Initiate and refine Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Plans.
  • Conduct assessments to determine the criticality of assets and spare parts.
  • Identify and implement optimal maintenance strategies tailored to specific equipment types.
  • Monitor and evaluate equipment performance to validate the success of maintenance strategies.
  • Enhance maintenance protocols based on performance metrics.
  • Develop strategic plans for an effective Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.
  • Implement risk assessment methodologies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Review engineering designs to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and resources for reliability and maintenance improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a reliability-focused role, emphasizing maintenance reliability.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or related technical field; a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Maximo CMMS.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with reliability improvement concepts, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
