GENERAL FUNCTION:

As a vital member of the Finance Transformation team, you will spearhead the modernization of our financial systems platform, aimed at enhancing data transparency and operational efficiencies.

Your role involves conducting intricate analyses of data and various assignments to support multiple Finance Department functions, including Accounting, Treasury, and Forecasting. You will tackle complex challenges by leveraging best practices grounded in system and business knowledge.

Your focus will be on automating reporting processes, documenting data flows for clarity, and collaborating with different business lines to resolve data quality issues. You will ensure timely escalation and communication of issues to maintain appropriate visibility.


In this position, you will be responsible for managing risk by openly sharing ideas and concerns, adhering to established policies and procedures.

You will be accountable for making decisions that benefit both customers and colleagues, ensuring that your actions contribute to a positive customer experience.

While working within the Bank's risk framework, you will achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting various types of risks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Your responsibilities will include performing complex analyses and assignments for Treasury-related functions, such as Asset/Liability internal reporting or Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

You will provide data for complex analyses related to balance sheets, net interest income, and risk management.


Utilizing ALM, QRM, and other models, you will assist in evaluating the Bancorp's risk/return profile in support of Asset/Liability internal reporting.


Additionally, you will leverage regulatory reporting applications to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve guidelines in relation to Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

You will identify, analyze, and support data utilized in Treasury processes that underpin critical business operations.

Regular communication with internal stakeholders is essential, as you will maintain contact with Finance and Accounting, various business lines, Treasury, IT, and EDO to ensure all relevant issues are addressed and documented for senior management.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Information Technology. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

Typically, a minimum of five years of experience in a Treasury-related role or support function in at least one area: Asset/Liability or Funding/Liquidity is expected. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills are essential, with experience in ALM modeling software (QRM preferred) for those aligned with Asset/Liability functions.

Knowledge of treasury products, including investment securities, capital markets, and various money market instruments, is necessary.

You should demonstrate the ability to learn and become proficient with software, analytical tools, and database management systems.

Proven capability to manage multiple assignments independently and show initiative is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building, and teamwork is essential.

Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment is necessary.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational abilities, are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is expected. Proficiency in SAS is strongly preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The role is situated in a standard office environment, with extended periods of computer screen usage.
