Clinical Documentation Specialist

**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with physicians, patients, and staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records
* Analyze and review medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare regulations
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* One year of experience in medical records or a related field; accredited records technician or registered record administrator certification a plus
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
