Patient Transporter

Job Summary:
As a Patient Transporter at Ascension, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to designated areas within the hospital. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Patients: Safely transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to designated sites, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Assist Patients: Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles, providing support and care as needed.
- Deliver Equipment and Specimens: Deliver equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and patients as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
