Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Participant Escort to assist with transporting and supporting program participants during hospital appointments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Escort participants, assist with mobility, personal care, and report any equipment issues.
- Support meal service, activity programs, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions, interact with the elderly, and hold valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.
Physical, Mental, and Visual Abilities:
- Capable of lifting/pushing equipment and standing/walking for long periods.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily on transportation vans and escorting clients to appointments.
