Executive Specialty Sales Consultant

Bayer is a leading life science company that is committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. We are seeking an experienced Executive Specialty Sales Consultant to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

About the Role:

The Executive Specialty Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-standing business relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the assigned territory. This includes understanding and performing with unique needs of the orphan disease market and customers, providing quality consultative information to professionals and customers, and selling, coordinating, and promoting complex products and services within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer focus and building positive relationships with key decision makers
  • Penetration of large accounts and success with key decision makers
  • Creating territory plans, including goals and resource allocation, for key customers
  • Gaining account formulary acceptance and understanding specialty pharmacy and product stocking
  • Teaming with customers as a business partner and proactively seeking out potential customers
  • Utilizing consultative skills to assist customers with their business and market/selling Bayer products
  • Timely expense reports and staying current on product information

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • Orphan disease or specialty cardiovascular experience required
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to travel as necessary or required
