Job Overview

Summary: We are in search of a skilled Aircraft Cabin Assembly Technician with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and a solid background in FAA 145 Repair Station operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years in heavy aircraft maintenance, including at least two years in a leadership capacity
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant license (A License minimum)
  • Proven experience in an FAA 145 Repair Station environment
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, technical orders, and various aircraft systems/components
  • Familiarity with computer software utilized in the maintenance facility
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary
  • Must successfully complete mechanical, structural, and avionics assessments

Physical Demands:

  • Knowledge of and ability to use protective equipment and safety protocols for exposure to various hazards
  • Familiarity with handling hazardous materials safely
  • Understanding of fall protection requirements
  • Capability to endure constant or intermittent loud noise levels
  • Close vision or clear vision at 20 inches or less
  • Distance vision or clear vision at 20 feet or more
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance activities and personnel to ensure adherence to documentation standards
  • Delegate maintenance tasks to team members
  • Assess and estimate maintenance time and costs
  • Co-sign documentation with uncertificated mechanics
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance plans
  • Identify training needs and necessary tools/special equipment
  • Monitor and adjust workflow plans as needed

- Oversee work performed by uncertificated mechanics and personnel unfamiliar with required methods and practices.

- Provide on-the-job training as necessary.

- Maintain daily turnover reports for each shift.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the hangar at all times.

Compensation: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
