Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at Airborne Inc. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of aircraft maintenance and repair procedures.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years of commercial heavy jet experience in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment.
  • Alternative Experience: 2 years of military experience on acceptable aircraft.
  • Additional Acceptable Experience: A balanced mix of commercial heavy jets and helicopters, or regional jets.
  • Military Experience: An equal mix of military acceptable jets and regional jets or helicopters.

The ideal candidate must possess a thorough working knowledge of all necessary forms and documentation required to support heavy maintenance services. This includes, but is not limited to, company policy manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of tools, gauges, and instruments essential for completing assigned tasks.
  • Understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal as it pertains to job responsibilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A valid and current Airframe and Powerplant license is advantageous.
  • Possession of minimum required tools is necessary.
  • Must meet qualifications to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
