Job Summary

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Composite Technician to join our team. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings, Structure Repair Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) and company safety practices.
  • Operate in a team environment, working collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that repairs and modifications meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft composite structures, including materials, design, and repair techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices in composite repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in composite repair and maintenance, preferably in the helicopter, military, regional, and/or commercial aircraft industry.
  • Experience with Boeing 737, 767, and Airbus aircraft is highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Standard Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background Check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven technical and mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings and technical instructions.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, safely and with care and precision.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions with general supervision.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
