STS Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at our overhaul and repair station in Melbourne, FL.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Aircraft Sheet Metal Technicians in maintaining and repairing Commercial and/or large regional aircraft.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance and repair services.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and quality of work.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- 4 years minimum experience working as an Aircraft Sheet Metal technician, maintaining and repairing Commercial and/or large regional aircraft.
- 2 years minimum experience, working as a Lead Aircraft Structures Technician or Supervisor.
- Valid A&P license is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals.
