This role involves proficient clerical and administrative responsibilities in supporting the Division Supervisor in managing office operations, along with various other assigned tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
A High School diploma complemented by coursework in office management and computer literacy, along with three years of experience in administrative or secretarial roles; experience in customer service is also valuable. Knowledge of municipal operations is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
Proficient understanding of office protocols, equipment, and computer systems. Experience with record management, financial documentation, and bookkeeping is preferred. Familiarity with municipal operations is a plus.
Ability to interact with the public and internal departments with professionalism and patience. Strong organizational skills to maintain precise and comprehensive records. Proficient in operating communication devices such as two-way radios. Capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations and manage emergencies effectively. Ability to uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion when required.
Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Email, and accounting software such as Munis and Pentamation. Strong numerical skills are essential.
Compensation: $2,299.23 bi-weekly plus benefits.
