Family Support Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a Family Support Navigator to provide specialized services to children and their families who receive services through an IFFS program.
Family Continuity is a leading provider of counseling, support, and education services, and we are expanding our team to meet the growing needs of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address identified needs and goals.
- Connect families with community resources and services to support their well-being.
- Collaborate with other program staff to ensure a comprehensive team approach.
- Provide education and training to parents and caregivers to enhance their capacity to care for their family members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with families and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed service delivery and experience working with families facing social and economic challenges.
- Ability to speak additional languages is required.
