General Manager Job Description

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our drive-in restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train a team of employees to deliver outstanding customer service and meet operational standards.
  • Direct and assign tasks to ensure efficient food service, inventory management, and employee compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality food preparation, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage employee schedules, monitor staffing levels, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, place orders, and maintain cost control procedures.
  • Complete and maintain accurate employment and payroll records.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR, with experience running shifts without supervision.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 5 days a week, including irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Basic accounting and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
